Welcome to the Factory Backyard and an excotic film festival

News

Amandus BLIKKFANG will this year be held in the backyeard plot of the culture house "Fabrikken" in Lillehammer. Here you will see all the festival screenings, the panel talks and other social activities. This will be an untypical an excotic film festival.

This article is written for an older edition of the festival, and may contain content that is no longer valid.

The most important content is of course our film program and the meetings with the filmmakers. Naturally this takes up most of the festival program, (which were announced here). There will be some panel talks on stage, a local film quiz and some musical content.

Some events will also be held at the Lillehammer Cineam. The pre-screening of the Cannes winner (Renate Reinsve for best actress), The Worst Person in the World, still has some tickets for the extra screening (Norwegian subtitles only). In addition, you can join in some family activities on Saturday, with the screening of The Boss Baby: Family Business, and on Sunday the festival will end with a screening of the winner films from the day before, and screenings of student films from our collaborator in Poland.

Welcome to a fun and a bit different film festival in Lillehammer!

The “Film tent” is waiting for you! (there will be heat!)

Our film talk hosts

To guide us through the film talks, you will meet Øystein Egge and Frøydis Fossli Moe.

Øystein is the festival director of Movies on War in Elverum, but also has a lot of experience with student films, after working with both The Norwegian Student Film Festival, and Amandus – Lillehammer International Student Film Festival in 2017.

Frøydis is a freelance filmmaker, who has made many short films, some of them has also been screened at various programs at our festivals. Recently she premiered her new short film HEMALE EDUCATION, which was very well received. She has also worked on many other film and televison productions, and this spring she was also part of the Amandus Panel during the online festival.

Both of them was part of the preselection committee, and are looking forward to meeting all of the filmmakers.
