What’s Happening?
Amandus Blikkfang is a film festival that showcases short films created by students and young adult filmmakers from across the Nordic countries. It’s the only festival with an exclusive focus on this group, making it an essential platform for film education institutions and others engaged in youth cinema.
In addition to screening around 35 short films, there will be discussions with the attending filmmakers, select panel discussions, seminars, a grand award ceremony, and many delightful social events. 🥂
We also have a program at the Lillehammer cinema, where we present new, intriguing, and relevant festival films that you shouldn’t miss.
The complete schedule with timings will be announced closer to the festival date.

Where is it Taking Place?
This year’s main venue for the festival is at Kulturhuset Banken in Lillehammer. Here, there will be a screening location where most of the program will be shown, along with a café offering various food and beverage items.
We will also have some exclusive screenings at the Lillehammer cinema, just a few minutes’ walk away.
Both venues are located in the heart of Lillehammer city center, and it’s very easy to get there from the train station.
How Can I Attend?
To attend the events at Kulturhuset Banken, you’ll need a festival pass. Purchase online, and then arrive in person to receive your festival wristband at our festival desk at Kulturhuset Banken. Filmmakers with a film in the program can register for an accreditation, (which just means you get the festival pass for free).
You can also buy individual tickets for the film screenings at the cinema from the cinema’s website.
