About the festival
Amandus Blikkfang is a film festival dedicated to young Nordic filmmakers. The festival is a small but vibrant event where student films and works by filmmakers aged 20-26 get their moment in the spotlight. Held in Lillehammer, the festival attracts a young audience both locally and from across Norway and neighboring countries. In addition to screening films by emerging talents, we also feature exciting films from the festival circuit, engaging panel discussions, interesting lectures, and plenty of social events. Amandus Blikkfang 2024 will take place from September 26–28, marking the fourth edition of the festival.
Participants from all over the Nordic countries are warmly welcome to submit their films to the competition. The deadline for submission is [date day=competition competition=student], and this is easily done via Filmfreeway.com.
